The Journey Starts

This first day will be a unique trip from concept art, with ‘Nicolas Sparth’ Bouvier, Paul Chadeisson, to the secret of Pixar’s animation with Gini Santos, Animation Supervisor on Coco, to VFX with Jaime Jasso who’s worked on recent Star Wars movies, Previz with Halon founder, Daniel Gregoire and traditional sculpting with Andrea Blasich

 

This first day will also be the first chapter of the 3-Day Master Class by Aaron Sims; « From Sketch to Screen ». You will get through the first steps of a movie creation : Script Breakdown, Visual Inspiration and Concept Design

 

Nicolas Sparth Bouvier

Art Director and Concept Artist veteran in the Video Game industry since 1996, author of the Structura book series, Halo 5 Art Director.


 

Jaime Jasso

Jaime Jasso is a Digital matte painter and Visual Effects Artist with 18 years of experience in film visual effects, video game cinematics and other visual media.


 

Gini Santos

Gini Santos joined Pixar Animation Studios in September 1996. Her first project was working as a character animator on “Toy Story 2.” Santos was also given the opportunity to serve as lead animator on Pixar’s short film “Lifted.” Her most recent role was supervising animator on Disney Pixar’s, “Coco,” which was released on November 2017.


 

Daniel Gregoire

With nearly 20 years experience and creative leadership in blockbuster films, television, and games, HALON Founder Daniel Gregoire has overseen hundreds of high profile projects including War of the Worlds, Kung Fu Panda, Spider-Man 3, Life of Pi, Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Jurassic World, The Hunger Games, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Alice Through the Looking Glass, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Deepwater Horizon, Logan, and Kong: Skull Island.


 

Andrea Blasich

Andrea Blasich has spent the last 20 years working in the film industry. He graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan with a master in scenography and started to work for a few years at different theaters in Milan.


 

Paul Chadeisson

Paul Chadeisson is a senior Illustrator & Concept Artist, full time freelance since 2016, working for games and films
His clients include: CD Projekt Red, NCSoft’s ArenaNet, 343 Industries, Ghost story games, OATS studios, Walt Disney Pictures, Alcon Entertainment, Lionsgate, 20th Century fox, Square Enix, Unit Image, The Senate VFX.
