About Magdalena Katanska
Magdalena Katanska is a freelance concept artist working in the film and video games industry, specializing in creature design.
Her work ranges from different types of concept art to illustration and key art design, with the biggest focus on creatures and characters. She is very passionate about everything fantasy-related, exploring new ways of portraying mythical monsters and otherworldly environments.
Her latest projects include an unannounced tv series, creature concept art for Guild Wars 2 (ArenaNet), marketing concept art & key art design for a few EA titles - Dragon Age: Dread Wolf, Battlefield 2042, It Takes Two, NFS Unbound - and the artwork for Heroes of Might and Magic III Original Soundtrack special vinyl release.
In her art, she often draws inspiration from the works of J R R Tolkien and the classic fantasy illustration aesthetic.
Currently, Magdalena works as a freelancer for various companies, but in the meantime, she's engaged in a personal project connected to the world of Heroes of Might and Magic.
