Spaceship and City were the only asset given by the videogame team, and edited by us.
Cut has been made on DaVinci Resolve.
Environment has been made on World Creator.
Assets made on Blender.
VFXs on Embergen.
Cut, SFXs and music on DaVinci Resolve.
The cut in the link has been edited after our first version, as the game team wanted to put alpha gameplay footage between cinematic renders.
Mother's day was apparently yesterday, so I thought I will skip to the happy ending, before I go back to capture these little dudes' friendship. Orange cats are very adventurous and yet so loving, so I definitely want it to be an orange cat family... which does not resolve the issue in the previous shot. I have added some highlights though; I want to push more the colors and the lights.
26 Thermae
This work is the first in a series of 26 works on spaces designed with the assistance of artificial intelligence. It started with an internal project that I didn't have time to do, but that I had the intention of producing for a while. It was a morbid curiosity that led me to test it on the first software I found interesting, and voilá. Almost 100 interactions and two hours later, refining the prompt down to the last detail, I arrived at a result that, even though it wasn't what I envisioned, came close to the meaning I wanted to convey. Funny it wasn't faster. A skilled draftsman, or myself working in 3d would have arrived at the design I thought of at the same time. But in the process, so many interactions were generated with interesting results that I was inspired to make the series with the theme of hot springs and spas. In homage to 26 Bathrooms, by Peter Greenaway, a film that spiritually discusses the question of the meaning and use of the most intimate space in the house, as soon as time permits I will be posting the interactions that emerged in the exercise.
