WH40K First Founding - Gorgon's Forge

This Artwork was one of the firsts big-client commission I got back in 2020. It was a real pleasure for me to illustrate a legendary and unprecedented location like Gorgon's Forge.

I used a mix of techniques, including 3D for the rough base, and, of course, painting.

Thank you, Patrice. I referred to it as a personal IP, but currently, I don't intend to develop an actual intellectual property, like a video game or TV series. It's more of a small universe I'm cultivating in my mind to improve my skills in creating something specific, in this case, pirate-themed, instead of creating generic paintings.

By the way, I drew a lot of inspiration from the master Anthony Eftekhari; he was a key reference for the key art. :)

Tales From The Black Shore - Concept Design Practiceย

Tales from the Black Shore is a personal IP that I developed in my free time to practice my concept design skills.
I also had fun stepping out of my comfort zone to develop the logo, which I believe is an important part of adding believability to the project.
I hope to be able to create and share more concept art about this project in the future.

Thank you, Patrice. I'm glad you liked it! You're absolutely right about the lens flare. As for the production, I entirely created it in 3D and then used photobashing in post-production. Of course, I retouched some parts in Photoshop with some painting intervention.

Onryo - Concept Art Practice

Hi! I'm thrilled to begin sharing some artwork in this new Art-Safe space during these challenging times.

With this work, I wanted to step completely outside of my comfort zone and experiment with a cyberpunk setting, trying to push the quality of the key art further. As I like to do, I imagined it as video game concept art, even trying to fake it with a logo.
In my mind, Onryo is just a group of hackers who have occupied an abandoned corporate apartment to set up their main base, of course, to fight corporations.

I am obviously inspired by Cyberpunk 2077, and I can't stop playing Phantom Liberty.
